Bialetti Coffee/Tea Maker Replacement Parts and Accessories

Bialetti coffee makers, also known as Mokas, have been a staple in Italian kitchens for almost a century. These elegant and functional coffee pots brew coffee by percolation while sitting on a hot stove. With replacement parts, your Bialetti Moka or tea maker could last for years to come.

What kinds of replacement parts are available?

With over 200 million coffee makers manufactured and sold over the past 80 years, Bialetti has spread the love of Italian espresso all around the globe with the Bialetti Moka. This uniquely shaped coffee maker, which has eight sides, allows your coffee or espresso to evenly heat and brew on your stove top. These kitchen appliances are built to last and can be maintained with new parts as needed. Some of available parts include:

  • Gasket and filter plates
  • Funnel cups
  • Replacement handles
Does Bialetti offer accessories?

For discerning coffee and espresso drinkers, Bialetti offers several additional items to complement their Moka brewers. One is a manual coffee grinder that allows you to adjust the coarseness or fineness of the grounds; finer grounds produce a stronger, richer brew. Another is a scoop that has a clip on the handle end, allowing you to clip or clasp the coffee bean bag shut with the scoop for storage. There is also a frothing pitcher for the stove top, which allows you to create milk froth for cappuccino and cafe latte beverages.

Does Bialetti sell electric brewing systems?

While most of the coffee makers, brewers, and tea makers that Bialetti sells are designed for the stovetop, the company does manufacture electric coffee brewers, as well. Using the same eight-sided design, the six-cup Easy Caffe has an electric base that heats the brewing system to percolate the coffee. It then maintains the coffee at a hot temperature for approximately 25 minutes. This unit is a solid choice for offices, dorms, and other places where access to a stovetop is not available.

How do you clean a Moka pot?

To ensure lasting durability and functioning, be sure to follow the manufacturer's directions for cleaning and caring for your brewer. Some general tips to keep in mind include:

  • Disassemble the brewing pot and wash all parts by hand with warm water. Avoid using dish soap or detergents to wash the brewing pot.
  • Allow the brewing pot to air dry completely before reassembling to avoid oxidation.
  • Avoid placing the brewing pot or any of its components in a dishwasher.
  • Avoid using steel wool or abrasive cleaner on the brewing pot as this will scratch the surfaces.
