Installing a new bulb in your Scion xB taillights is simple. Follow these steps to replace the burnt-out bulb:

1. Making sure your Scion is turned off and in park, then pop the rear hatch.
2. Remove the panel covering the taillight assembly.
3. Remove the taillight socket by turning it counterclockwise.
4. The socket should now hang freely away from the assembly. Remove the old light.
5. Insert the new bulb into the socket, reinsert the socket, and replace the panel to complete installation.

1. Turn off the vehicle and open the back hatch, then remove the plastic access panel behind the taillight.
2. Remove the two bolts found on the top and bottom of the assembly with your socket wrench.
3. After disconnecting the electrical connectors, gently pull the old assembly away from the vehicle.
4. Position the new assembly in place and secure it with the two bolts. Then, connect the electrical connector to complete installation.
